About the Barnert Temple |
The Nathan Barnert Memorial Temple (Congregation B'nai Jeshurun) is a welcoming Reform Jewish community located in Franklin Lakes, NJ. We are connected by the realization that we are part of something larger than ourselves, continually striving to excel at opening doors for ethical and spiritual growth. Under the leadership of Rabbi Elyse Frishman and Cantor Leon Sher, we are a spiritual center for approximately 480 member families from more than 36 surrounding communities in northern New Jersey and the New York City suburbs.
The mission of the Barnert Temple is to be a sacred community, a k'hillah k'doshah, committed to offering Reform Jewish experiences that are relevant, accessible and meaningful, wherein people of all ages and backgrounds are appreciated and valued, engaged and inspired.
We hope you will take the time to learn more about us. We encourage you to visit our website at www.barnerttemple.org and learn about our various events, our preschool and religious school, our adult education offerings and all that Barnert Temple has to offer.
